Edison C-250 “Chippendale”
Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph Model C-250 “Chippendale,” 1915-1916.
Extensive cabinet damage, including a hole drilled in the back of the cabinet and a grille in such poor condition it was soft to the touch and shedding wood pieces. My personal favorite machine, the absolutely gorgeous Chippendale cabinet contains Edison’s best-sounding mechanism and horn, along with storage room for 100 discs.
